Writing for well over 30 years, Associate Professor Kirpal Singh has authored and edited more than a dozen books. In May 2001, his Monologue-Interlude-Monologue was launched as a special for the Hong Kong International Literary Festival. He is the General Editor of the Interlogue: Studies in Singapore Literature series as well as the international journal World Literature Written in English. He is currently teaching at the Singapore Management University.
